Gotta Dance!

If you love to dance and are looking for an exciting and challenging dance project to develop your dance and performance skills while boosting your self-confidence then here's your chance...

The first IRIEAdult 10-week program finished at the end of March with the group performing at FLOW (Family Learning Open Weekend).

"I have always wanted to take part in a dance performance like this and I am happy that I got to experience my first performance with a special group."

The original members of IRIEAdults enjoyed the experience so much that they wanted to continue and build on the progress they had made.

Dates

So the IRIEAdults program will run for another 10 weeks starting Tuesday 20 April.  Sessions run from 7:30pm - 9:00pm at Moonshot Centre and we are OPEN to new members.

What You'll Gain

Taught by IRIE! dance theatre's professional dance tutors, over the 10-week period you'll have the opportunity to learn dance based on IRIE!'s African/Caribbean and Contemporary dance fusion.  You'll develop your creative, performance and communication skills while enhancing your wellbeing.

Pre-Requisites

No prior dance experience is necessary.  You simply need to love to dance (no matter how good or bad you feel you are at dancing) and have a fervent desire to express yourself through movement.

And, just one more thing - you must be willing to have FUN! :-)

"My favourite part was the dance routine and I really enjoyed dancing together as a group.  It was nice to come to class after work and just let all the stresses of the day melt away."

WANTED: Urban Gods

The first IRIEAdult group was composed of just women - in fact they dubbed themselves "The Urban Goddesses".  However, men are welcome to join IRIEAdults and so if you think the description "Urban God" fits you then this could be your chance.

But seriously, if you're male and would like an opportunity to explore African/Caribbean dance, enhance your creativity and boost your confidence then do consider joining the group.

Booking Your Place

To book your place for this program simply go to the top of this page, select the number of "tickets" that you want and then click on one of the payment buttons.  You'll then be directed to PayPal where you can make a secure online payment.  You don't have to have a PayPal account.  You can simply pay with your debit or credit card.

Paying for the full 10 weeks is the most economical option to pay for the classes.  However, you can pay on a session by session basis.  Individual sessions are £3.50.
